Tyler White ARt

Here are photos of our entries into the auction benefiting Tylers tit job.
The exercise was to use the torso as a part of the piece. In the first one we actually painted Daggers chest and pressed her down on the canvas. On the second piece I chose to put Tyler in the classic Vivian Westwood Tit shirt. Since thats the only way Tyler is gonna have tits again. Both pieces are acrylic on canvas, and are ~ 2-3' by 3-4'

Lee Press On Boobs

And

His name is Tyler

What kind of bees make milk?

BOO BEES! hehehe

We are doing some BOOBIE art for the Tyler White Tit Benefit (see here... http://www.tylerwhite.biz/). I had grand plans, but life, work and derby got in the way (per usual... that is why most artists are starving cause they don't let the other crap get in the way) . Here is what I finally busted out (pun totally intended). They are boob lightswitch plates. Once you get them on a dual light switch (in place of the nipples) they are totally rad. My fav is the chick with a pearl necklace. hah

Yellow Bike Finals

***a thank you email ****
Dear Friends,
Don't know about y'all but I'm still surfin' the rad vibe wave of Saturday night! Thanks to everyone!! Everyone made it awesome, everyone IS awesome. I believe this was the most successful YB birthday party in history and dang, it was needed. A special thanks to USAA, the bands, the DJs, the makers of yellow bikes, the artists, the volunteers, and of course all the cyclists who keep this city fun!

Love,Jessica.

p.s.feel free to send this token of appreciation on to anyone I may have missed (like, foot patrol).

YB Art update

a full day of cutting. so far so good i think. color scheme for final bike layover will be important. itching to do another, with a recycled bike wheel, but not sure if I'll have time.

Here's the direction I am headed in as far as composition and what not. Not sure what medium I am going to choose. - PRP

Yellow Bike Art!

It's time to give back to the community... (tight deadlines = forced creativity)

Artists and creative-types alike are encouraged to submit bicycle-inspired art by Thursday, May 1st. There are no rules and no limits to the type of medium artists choose, however used or recycled materials and re-use of surplus bike parts is highly encouraged. Free bike parts will be available at our main shop at 2013 E. 51st Street, and all proceeds from the silent auction will be donated to YBP for the new building construction fund.

Artists must submit the following to be considered:
  • Name, address, phone number, email
  • Photo, Sketch and description of Art Works to be entered in auction
  • Acknowledgment and agreement that all proceeds from the auction of art will be donated to The Austin Yellow Bike Project.
Thanks for your interest. Now GO, ART!

Lucha Latte'

Here is the final version of "Lucha Latte' " I look forward to seeing my felow stoopid art clubbers versions.

Here is another teaser on how far I have gotten, Still lots to do.

So to get things started and inspire, here is a roughed up image of where I am going to go with it. I call it Lucha Latte' Not sure whats going to be on the mask just yet but I normally start super rough and add details as I go. This has been both a success and a detriment. I really should create more detailed preliminary drawings. Enjoy.

Lucha Lucha

The assignment should you choose to accept it is lucha. Choose whatever medium. no size restrictions. Once we have all done one we can move on to another topic.

Welcome back to ART.
